This year EA Sports has added a new dimension to the annual Madden Bowl contest, with a special matchup, pitting hip-hop artist Game against Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson in Madden NFL 10. rlotte DJ'ed some great sets as the party was one of the best, if not the best parties during the entire Super Bowl week. Scheduled to join them in this intense competition for bragging rights and the awesome Madden Bowl trophy are: WR Percy Harvin (Minnesota Vikings), LB Patrick Willis (San Francisco 49ers), DE Jared Allen (Minnesota Vikings), RB Chris Johnson (Tennessee Titans), TE Tony Gonzalez (Atlanta Falcons), RB Maurice Jones-Drew (Jacksonville Jaguars), LB DeMarcus Ware (Dallas Cowboys), WR Brandon Marshall (Denver Broncos), WR DeSean Jackson (Philadelphia Eagles), OT Michael Oher (Baltimore Ravens), WR Reggie Wayne (Indianapolis Colts), QB Mark Sanchez (New York Jets), WR Andre Johnson (Houston Texans), DE Justin Tuck (New York Giants), and WR Miles Austin (Dallas Cowboys). After the champion of the eight-player single-elimination tournament is crowned, Game will perform for the VIP crowd. Guests will also get a sneak peak of the EA SPORTS MMA video game with top STRIKEFORCE fighters, including world’s #1 ranked heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko, Gegard Mousasi, Frank Shamrock, Cung Le and others, likely to be in attendance.

We here at Super Sunday HQ were lucky enough to attend last year's event and must say that the success and great atmosphere of Tampa's Madden Bowl will be a tough act to follow. Among the athletes we spotted were: Antonio Bryant, Maurice Jones-Drew, Willie Parker, Justin Tuck, DeMarcus Ware, Matthew Stafford, Mark Sanchez, Derrick Brooks, Terrell Owens, Antonio Gates, Willis McGahee, Evander Holyfield, Darren Sproles, and Donavan McNabb. Joel Madden of Good Charlotte DJ'ed some great sets as the party was one of the best, if not the best parties during the entire Super Bowl week.

This year's invite-only event is set to take place on February 4th, 2010 at the Clevelander Hotel right on Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach. With the number of athletes every year trying to get into this party, this will be one of the toughest parties to get into this year.
