2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Parties XLVI
SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF Friday Night Recap:We can't believe we made it out of Super Bowl Village alive, as it looked like a scene from Titanic, an experiment of survival of the fittest for those who dared to be stuck in the Village around 8pm to 11pm. The funny thing is that LMFAO seemed to make people forget for a short while, their immediate future human gridlock woes. Check out our video at an awesome angle above. Earlier in the night we got a chance to check out The Big Game Big Give event, which was an intimate get together of notables to support philanthropy, held at the Colts Grill. Guests checked out the cool NFL memorabilia silent auction, as well as mingled with athletes and celebs. But the highlight for some 1500 people last night, was the opportunity to escape the madness blocks away and check out the Leather and Laces Super Bowl Party, hosted by Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarthy, and Jwoww. Both guys and girls loved this event, as they rocked the dancefloor consistently, enjoyed sushi, desserts, and custom premium cocktails until 3am. To say there was an overload of sexiness in the event would be an understatement. Check out our video below to see the gorgeous hosts interviewed and the intoxicating women of Leather and Laces. _______________________________________ SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF Madden Bowl Recap: The Bud Light Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis was hands-down THE place to be last night as EA Sports pulled out all the stops to deliver one of the most memorable Super Bowl parties in history. The video game tournament, of course, was the centerpiece, which completely delivered and had guests eyes glued to the monitors in the early evening. Tim Tebow, Drew Brees, and Jimmy Graham ("All-Clutch Team") not only defeated the Legends Team (Warren Sapp, Deion Sanders, and Barry Sanders), but also engineered a game-winning fourth quarter drive in the final seconds to beat the All-Rookie Team (Justin Blackmon, Robert Griffin III, and Lamichael James). Super Sunday HQ was there to capture this amazing scene, so check out the video above. $30 Cover Charge for The Huddle After Hours in the Heart of Super Bowl Village = A Winning Strategy SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF What we have noticed so far about the Super Bowl Party scene is that folks like to check out the free Super Bowl Village downtown during the day, and then file into the numerous party spots along Meridian Street.
SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF We had a chance to check out the Vibe Magazine Party at Barracuda Networks' Cuda Lounge, where we spotted the host of the event, Demarcus Ware, having a great time. The posh multi-level downtown venue was the perfect spot for good looking people to unwind for the night. The event included an extensive silent auction, as well as multiple food and drink bars throughout the club. We also hit up the Sensu Nightclub, about a block away, for a pair of events: The Wishing on Stars benefit for The United Way, as well as Glazer Palooza, named after sports analyst Jay Glazer. We spotted a tremendous amount of athletes and familiar personalities, making it impossible to cross the venue without bumping into an NFL legend or celebrity. Among notables spotted were: Frank Caliendo, Jay Glazer, Michael Irvin, Marshall Faulk, Eric Dickerson, Eddie George, Matt Leinart, Jared from Subway, Warren Moon, Brent & the Contraband, Raimi Merritt, and many more. Check out our Sensu party recap above. Just Announced: 2012 Legends 'N' Models Super Bowl Party with John Legend, Travie McCoy, Victoria Secret Angel Erin Heatherton, & DJ Reach SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF The event will be hosted by Erin Heatherton, the gorgeous Victoria Secret model, who, from some reports, is currently vacationing in Mexico with Leonardo Dicaprio. She also bringing some model friends along to make this one of Indy's sexiest bashes. One of the Super Bowl's busiest entertainers, Travie McCoy wil be in the house, most likely as a celebrity guest DJ as well as DJ Reach. You can expect more celebrities to show up at this party, so you might want to check this event out. Tickets have been spotted from $200 to $20,000. For more info check out the official party page.

SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF GENERAL ADMISSION HOURS: Special events: WED - Vibe Magazine Kickoff Party hosted by Dallas Cowboys player Demarcus Ware Cover charges will vary between free and $100 depending on the day, with the SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF The private VIP Party will be co-hosted by Grammy Award Winning Musician Wyclef Jean from 7 - 9 p.m. A limited number of tickets are available by contacting ssandler@givingback.org or (310) 649-5222 for more information. We have seen tickets in the past to this exclusive event go for about $1,000, which is in range for high-end Super Bowl parties. SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF Super Bowl Partygoers, especially those looking to catch Hip Hop acts that have completely dominated the Billboard charts in recent weeks, are in for a treat of colossal proportions. Indy's Sensu is hosting seven events during Super Bowl week, with major headliners and hosts planned for each night, from Tuesday through Sunday. For who don't know, Sensu is a two-story upscale restaurant/nightclub in the heart of downtown, combining an Asian fusion menu with the sophisticated atmosphere of a fine-dining establishment. Supersundayhq.com caught up with Event Producer Stephanie Jones, who said "We are getting RSVPS from major athletes and celebrities at a rapid pace, buying multiple tables in the VIP section." Keep in mind that despite the venue's big size, it can't accomodate every Hip-Hop fan coming to Indianapolis, so get your tickets ASAP before it's too late. Here's the complete schedule of events: Tuesday, January 31st - Soul Bowl 2012 - An Mpozi Tolbert Tribute Thursday, February 2nd - 2012 "The Kickoff" Super Bowl Party at Sensu with J Cole Friday, February 3rd - 2012 "First Down Friday" Super Bowl Party with Colts DE Dwight Freeney Sunday, February 5th - 2012 Celebration Sunday Super Bowl Party with Michael Strahan, Chrissy Teigen, and Fabolous SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF While many of us won't be getting into town this early for the Super Bowl in Indianapolis, several thousands of partygoers and sports fans from all over the world do plan to get a head start on the festivities tomorrow. The vast majority of them will descend upon "the Epicenter of Awesome," the Super Bowl Village downtown. While there are tons of activities, food and beverage opportunites, and entertainment throughout the area to enjoy, we came up with our plan of attack. First, if we didn't pre-purchase tickets for the NFL Experience for $28, we'd arrive about 1:30 to get ready for the box office to open (2pm) to buy tickets onsite ($25). Before entering the NFL Experience at 3pm, we'd make a move for the Zipline area because the Zipline tickets have been sold out online, and only a limited amount of tickets ($10) are available on a first come, first serve basis each day. After experiencing the Zipline sometime after 3pm, and maybe even getting a photo-op with some Colts Cheerleaders (onsite from 3pm-5pm), we'd head over to the NFL Experience and the huge memorabilia show at the Indiana Convention Center nearby. Next, around dinner time 5:30-6pm, we'd probably grab some beers (at one of the "Fire and Ice" Lounges and some Papa John's Pizza (they have a mobile kitchen onsite near the Verizon stage). We'd roam around for and check out the sights such as the: Kinect NFL Play 60 FanDome, while the Max Allen Band plays some classic blues tunes on the Pepsi Stage. But the Verizon Stage will be a major pit-stop, from 7-8pm, and 9:30pm to 11pm, as the earlier slot will showcase a performance by Jersey Shore's Pauly D, while the the later show will feature Poison frontman, Bret Michaels. You can be sure folks will be Tweeting about these performances throughout the night. Finally, we'd make use of our pre-purchased Field Pass from The Huddle, which gives us in-and-out privileges and skip the line benefits for only a $100 for six different nights. DJs Action Jackson and Helicon should keep the party going strong until 3am. This Friday is the perfect time to truly the experience the Super Bowl Village, as it looks to get exponentially busier each day. So make sure you take advantage of this tomorrow if you're in town. ____________________________________________ Meet Some Inspirational NFL and College Athletes at The 3rd Annual John Wooten Leadership Awards and VIP After Party: "It's Going to be a Great Turnout."
BY ELIANA GREEN, SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF The Third Annual John Wooten Leadership Awards is an event for both college and NFL athletes. The event will take place on Thursday, February 2nd, at the Central Library in Indianapolis, where two athletes will be chosen to receive the Wooten Award; one from college football and another from the NFL. The award is given to the player who best assists the community and works as a positive representative for football as a whole. Along with the award ceremony and having these inspirational athletes attend, the guest list is packed with a ton of NFL players and an awesome crowd of people. The Wooten Awards event will include drinks and appetizers, and will be followed by a VIP after party! We had the pleasure of interviewing NFL player Kansas City Chiefs SS Reshard Langford, who is attending the Wooten Awards. 1. For people who don’t know, tell us about the 3rd Annual John Wooten Awards. The John Wooten award goes out to the college student who basically represents the image of John Wooten himself. He was a great man. He did a lot for the NFL, as a player and in all other aspects. The award really exemplifies not only being a student and an athlete, but also by going out into the community and giving their service there. It is easily recognizable when someone who is a good person goes out into the community and tries to serve his city, his town or wherever he is in college. 2. We’ve heard that, off the field, you volunteer your time for the community. How important is this to you? It’s extremely important to me. For one, if we as NFL players, and I’m blessed to be so, have a stage, it is great to get out in the community and to help those who are in need. Coming from a small town in Alabama, where I grew up, there weren’t any role models. In a city like I’m in, Kansas City, these other players, and even these college students, are role models to kids who dream. I know what that felt like as a young child and it’s crazy to be able to give that back. 3. Your team cracked the code to defeat the Green Bay packers during the regular Our strategy for that week wasn’t really anything different than what we had tried to apply the entire season. We went out like normal and we were playing a good team. Defense and offense, it was clear that our team was good as a whole. The offense was on the ball the defense was on the ball. All of the team did their job that day and it resulted in a victory. We all went out and played hard together. $150 GA Tickets for the event and sponsorships are available at (818) 430-2182. Reshard Langford can be contacted for promotional opportunites through: SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF The parties don't stop coming! We caught up with event producer Tracy Kessler who filled us in on what Maxim has planned for not only its legendary Saturday Night event, but also its Sunday Tailgate Bash: TRACY: We set the bar higher every year for ourselves. The creative process of this event is very much a team effort and the party starts to take on a life of its own as we all brainstorm how to bring the theme to life. We looked at what people really enjoyed about last year, and what factors made everyone hands down name it The Best Party of the Super Bowl. We made sure to include those elements again this year. SSHQ: What are some details about Saturday Night's event, such as the theme/activities/performer etc? TRACY:This year’s party is Superheroes themed. We’ve created our own band of superheroes and the town that they fight crime in. This year’s headliner is a surprise act as usual but he’s somewhat of an entertainment superhero himself. SSHQ: What inspired Maxim to throw a Sunday Tailgate this year? What can people expect? TRACY:The Maxim “Salute to Heroes Tailgate” will be a tailgate with a Maxim twist. The creative team has gone to great lengths to make sure that guests know they are at a Maxim Party and not your mother’s tailgate. SSHQ: What are the goals for these events? What are some behind-the-scenes things that you are doing to make sure those goals are met? What's been most challenging so far in planning? TRACY:The Super Bowl is the ultimate branding opportunity. It wouldn’t be a Super Bowl without the Maxim party. Behind the scenes, we are working furiously to make sure that the high expectations are met again this year. There will be plenty of celebrities, plenty of beautiful Maxim models, top rated performances and a number of things to do. We learned last year with our gaming fairway that providing something to do at the parties is probably the most important element we include to make the party stand out. ____________________________________________ Don't Want to Wait in Nightclub Lines Every Night You're in Town? For Only $100, Partygoers Can "Skip the Line" for Six Nights at The Huddle After Hours Nightclub in the Heart of the "Epicenter of Awesome" SUPER SUNDAY HQ STAFF With the unprecedented amount of crowds coming to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI, the key to having a good time at the Super Bowl is to plan ahead and perhaps even spend a little extra money to ensure a stress-free partying experience. This is where the The Huddle After Hours Nightclub comes in. Nestled in the former 20,000 sq. ft. Nordstrom space at the Circle Centre in Downtown Indy, next the the Super Bowl Village, the venue is a great choice for those looking for a top-notch nightclub, at reasonable ticket prices, with an ultra-convenient location and plush surroundings. Aside from the amazing location, what's even more attractive is the price-point at which The Huddle is offering a "Field Pass" which will allow people to skip the main line. The nightclub plans to open its doors on a walk-up basis to the public (cover charge) during Super Bowl week, which is great, but will undoubtedly result in guests waiting for a while to get in. For $100, guests get six nights of line-skipping privileges, a small price to pay, given the numbers of attendees expected. The Field Pass is offered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the first week (1/27-1/29), and Thursday, Friday, Saturday the next week (2/2 to 2/4), so both folks who get in town early, and folks who get in later will have a chance to party in the heart of all the action. At the corner of Maryland and Meridian, the space will temporarily turn into a danceclub/ultra-lounge for the days leading up to Super Bowl Sunday, featuring bars, food and headliner DJs. Contemporary furniture, a VIP section, and a full sound & light production will offer an exciting atmosphere in which Super Bowl visitors can look forward to partying. The Huddle After Hours is strictly limited to patrons 21 & over. Must present valid, photo identification to enter the Huddle After Hours. No refunds or exchanges. 1-27: DJ Action Jackson and DJ Helicon ____________________________________________ The Inside Scoop on All The Party Details: Super Sunday HQ Interviews Rolling Stone on the Upcoming Rolling Stone Rock Weekend Super Bowl Parties: : "This Event Will Clearly Deliver." While this event boasts a steep price tag, high rollers who splurge on this will have stories to tell and Facebook updates that will rival no other. Tickets are scarce and can rise in value quickly, so grab 'em while you can. Click below to purchase tickets from Ticket Distributor, Vivid Seats:

Bud Light is seeking applicants through an open video casting call on its Facebook page to find the official Bud Light Hotel correspondent. According to Anheuser-Busch, the successful candidate will receive a salary from Bud Light to star in a series of exclusive videos for the brand's Facebook and YouTube pages throughout the week, ranging from unique Super Bowl week experiences, to red carpet interviews and behind-the-scenes looks at the EA SPORTS and Playboy parties at the Bud Light Hotel. To do that, we're hiring one of our own to be the eyes and ears of our fans and provide a behind-the-scenes look from Indy all weekend long."
