2011 Aces And Angels Salute to the Troops Super Bowl Party
On Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011, at Centennial Hall in Dallas, Super Bowl Festivities will kick off with the Aces & Angels Salute to the Troops Celebrity Gala benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project and the USO. Gene Simmons, bass player for the legendary rock band KISS and star of the "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" will host the Super Bowl Party, by treating guests to a very special evening featuring entertainment by Five For Fighting, Little Texas, The Grascals, 4Troops, and more. Earlier in the day, around noon, poker players will compete during the day in a Texas Shootout format to qualify for the Championship Round. The Grand prize is a $10,000 seat in the 2011 World Series of Poker . The Aces and Angels benefit previously took place in 2009, at the Playboy Mansion, where Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim Kardashian were some of the major celebrities to take part in the event, which is organized by Michael Eakman Events. Since 2007, Aces and Angels has raised over $427,400. As always, the celebrity guest list grows as the Super Bowl Party draws near, but Shannon Tweed will also share in hosting duties with Gene Simmons. In addition, the party will feature a Salute to the Troops Ceremony & Presentation, a Taste of Texas Buffet, an Open Premium Bar, Vegas Style Casino Games, Silent & Live Auctions, an unveiling of a one of a kind Gene Simmons Demon Bike, and the event is set to be filmed for an episode of the A&E TV show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."
