Super Sunday HQ caught up with one of the main forces behind the three nights of Super Bowl Parties at Aja Channelside to get some inside info regarding the upcoming parties and events. Enrique De Jesus  and Jason Amos were kind enough to give us their take on these topics:

On planning the events:

"We've been in the planning stages now for almost a year. For all of our celebrities, we used a lot of our L.A. and Miami contacts to reach out to these celebrities. A lot of people that we are using had already intended to go ahead and come to Superbowl. Pamela Anderson wanted to bring her kids to the super bowl this year so we sent her the media kit for the club. She loved the look of the space itself and was very interested in doing an event while she was here."

On tucking away celebrities:

"We don't have a traditional VIP room. The entire club is VIP. There won't be any velvet ropes throughout the event. It's really a disappointment when people pay for tickets and they don't get to see the celebrities. We don't believe in that. We want to create an experience for our customers. Their VIP tables will be in the center of the main room at AJA, there is no VIP section. It is a two story venue, and our celebrities will be in the main area."

On Friday and Saturday Night's open bar package:

"With the current state of the economy, and the fact that we wanted as many people as possible to experience AJA over super bowl weekend, our strategy was to add as much value as possible to our tickets. Dj Scene resident from Wet Replublic Las Vegas and Studio 54 Las Vegas will be spinning"

On Thursday Night's $50 price tag:

"With Dj AM spinning a special 4 turntable set with Dj Jazzy Jeff we wanted keep the ticket price as low as possible, so our local faithful following people wouldn't be left out and can still experience the Super Bowl weekend festivities as well."

On Aja, the venue:

"It is Tampa's newest venue. There's nothing like AJA in Tampa. Once anyone walks into the place, they'll appreciate the time that went into the designing the room and all the intricate finishes. The service model is going to be second to none.  AJA itself is an extremely high end venue, yet we are in the business of making our customers have a good time, by no means is our environment stuffy. What sets us apart is the quality of our events, and the caliber of our celebrities. Most importantly, the overall beauty of the rooms themself."

On the demand from NFL athletes wanting to come:

"Every day we're getting bombarded with more and more requests, we've gotten so many so we won't be able to go ahead and acomodate all of them."

On the girl/guy ratio:

"We've been doing events in the Tampa Bay Area for the last five years. Our primary business is here in Tampa. Our reputation of creating events exceeding our customers' expectations has allowed us to acquire a large network of individuals here, so the ratio in the event is obviously very important to us, but not of major concern, because we know that our female clientele will be strong for the event."
