Club 009 Lets You Tailgate in Style on Sunday

As far as pre-game festivites go, you can't ask for much more than great food, unlimited drinks, and mingling with the greatest wide receiver of all time, as well as other notable athletes and celebs. This comes to you courtesy of Club 009, the Bond-inspired party put on by PrimeSport, RazorGator, and DeBartolo Sports and Entertainment.
Recently, we caught up with Sharyn Outtrim, the spokesperson for PrimeSport and RazorGator to get some more details about the unique bash:
Tell us about the party:
Where it is located is right in the middle of all the parking for Super Bowl, as everyone else trudges over to the stadium we'll have a pretty decent entry area. Of course our party is called Club 009, and it is a James Bond inspired party. We will have a lot of "Bond" girls greeting people as they come in, and the party is inside the hanger and in the back of the hanger. It is going to be a very cool afternoon club environment, very contemporary. Of course we'll have our Martini bar, some very creative Florida cuisine, premium brand open bar, and music. We'll do athlete//celebrity interviews every twenty minutes for about five minutes. People love that. People are going to see a lot of celebrities.
So will the celebrities be in a separate VIP area?
I'm not into the the "zoo" scene where you've got your celebrities sort of behind a fence. I think that's one reason why a lot of these athletes start calling me in September wanting to know if we're going to have a party because our parties in Super Bowl terms are pretty intimate, but it's also low key enough that they interact with the guests and mingle throughout the event. There is no VIP area that is sequestered, it is the whole thing. Of course, we have a green room, but most of the celebrities are there to have a good time and enjoy the food and the bar and the entertainment.
How will the party cater to what should be a male-dominated crowd?
We have a lot of girls. With all the other cancelled parties, now there's a lot of girls. There will be a sufficient amount of eye candy. Also, we'll have a lot of the EA Sports games, a lot of computer games, and some other fun stuff to do.
How is this party different from a lot of the Super Bowl Parties out there?
The numbers that we keep at our party are pretty exclusive. We're partnering with Debartolo Sports and Entertainment this year, and Eddie Debartolo, who used to own the 49ers was loved and revered by his team and is also well respected in the entertainment and sports industry. It's an opportunity, especially this year, to get into a party where all the "see and be seen" are going to be on gameday.
What if someone is not going to the Big Game, how can they still attend the party?
We've got a reserved parking lot right across the street from the party so people can zip in and zip out and we're selling those parking passes on our site as well.
How is the celebrity guest list coming along?
Unlike a lot of parties, I don't like listing unless we have an absolute definite that they're coming. We've got Roger Craig, who's actually parcipating in the Super Bowl XLIII coin toss. We also have Randy Cross, Vernon Davis, and I just got a voicemail from Eric Wright and he wants to come. Lawrence Maroney and Gosder Cherilus are also confirmed.
