The Diamonds and Pearls Celebrity Gala

The GLC (Good Luck Cafe) Entertainment Complex in Tampa's Ybor City will host Super LX, a series of events and parties leading up to the Super Bowl. The first Super LX Super Bowl Party is none other than the Diamonds and Pearls Celebrity Gala. On Friday, January 30th, 2009, from 8pm to 3am, Dylan Lauren (daughter of Ralph Lauren) and the Professional Sports Wives Association will host this fun event, with partial proceeds going to the St. Jude 's Children Research Hospital.
The Gala is also hosted by the Pro Athletes Council and Echoing Soundz.

The "Diamond & Pearls" themed gala, will feature live jazz, and a performance by songwriter, producer, vocalist, and instrumentalist Jon B, and recently added Chrisete Michele.  In addition, guests can enjoy a lavish soul food buffet and DJ on the dance floor.  As an added bonus, one of the night’s sponsors, Judith Ripka Jewelry, will be holding a silent auction of their most exquisite pieces . As far as the celebrity contingent for the event, the planners expect about 100+ professional athletes, their wives, and members of Hollywood’s elite to attend the gathering.

Tickets are very competitively priced for a Super Bowl Party. The promoters have indicated on their materials that they are offering the same VIP access at two different price points, $150 and $250. This is quite the novel approach, as potential guests can select the level of their donation, whichever is most comfortable for them.

Two types of VIP weekend passes can be obtained for the SuperLX parties: a $475 pass, and a $250 pass. The $475 pass gets you access to four events, while the $250 pass gets you access to two events. Special attention must be given to purchasing a weekend pass, as the $475 price point for four parties over four days will be tough to beat.
