Mike Ditka Gridiron Greats Super Bowl Party at the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa 2009

Mike Ditka, NFL Hall of Fame player and coach, sure knows how to pick a venue for a Super Bowl party. On Wednesday night, January 28th, 2009, from 7pm to 10pm, Ditka will host dinner and cocktails at the anticipated stomping grounds for athletes and celebrities during Super Bowl Week: Tampa's Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Bob Costas will join the former Chicago Bears tight end and head coach to host this once-in-a-lifetime VIP event and give a special presentation in front of one of the largest groups of NFL Legends ever assembled. The proceeds will benefit retired NFL players in dire need through the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund and also support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

If you are one of the 100 lucky people to hold a Platinum Ticket, which can be purchased for $1,500, the evening starts an hour earlier at 6pm with a private Diamond Crown VIP cigar and scotch reception in the exclusive Plum Room, and allows guests a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with over 40 NFL legends for cocktails, private autographs and photos. Your Platinum Ticket donation also gets you VIP table seating in a special section with a well known Gridiron Great “NFL Legend” at your table and a commemorative photo of your dinner table with your celebrity. You also get the regular amenities available to Gold ticket holders.

Gold tickets cost $1,000 and get you access to the Gridiron Greats Dinner of Champions, seating for dinner with a Gridiron Greats "NFL Legend" player, and complimentary cocktails throughout the evening. You will also not leave empty handed, as you will get a Gridiron Greats memento, autographed by the "NFL Legend" player at your table.

Players expected to attend include: Mike Ditka, Gale Sayers, Michael Irvin, Eric Dickerson, Jim McMahon, Billy Kilmer, Deacon Jones, Steve McMichael, Dan Hampton, Larry Little, Daryl Johnston, Ron Jaworski, Richard Dent, Mel Renfro, Dwight Clark, Bobby Bell, Randy Cross are just a few of a group of Hall of Famers and NFL Legends attending.
