Super Bowl Kickoff Party in Tampa: DJ AM and DJ Jazzy Jeff

Midnite-Productions and The Wet Group team up to throw a series of parties at AJA Channelside over three nights during Super Bowl XLIII weekend in Tampa.   The first of the three will be the Super Bowl Kickoff Party on Thursday, January 29 featuring the sounds of the mash up king, DJ AM and  hip hop great DJ Jazzy Jeff. They will performing simultaneously on a 4 turntable set with each spinning on two turntables.  DJ AM is truly a celebrity DJ and only spins at the hottest clubs and parties like this years MTV video Music Awards, so this will be a special treat for partygoers to check out.  DJ KU will also perform an opening DJ set. 

Perhaps one of the coolest attractions of the event, besides the world renown DJ's, is in fact, the brand-spanking-new venue: Aja Channelside. Enrique De Jesus of Midnite Productions adds "It is Tampa's newest venue. And I'm not just saying that because we're planning the event. There truly is nothing like AJA in Tampa. Once anyone walks into the place, they'll appreciate the time that went into the designing the room and all the intricate finishes. The service model is going to be second to none, as well."  We here at Super Sunday HQ were lucky enough to take a sneak peek at the design kit for the soon-to-be open venue, and it looks to be on par with any Randy Gerber or Ian Schrager production.

Tickets are only $50.00 for a very limited time. While not providing an open bar on Thursday Night, guests will get a chance to hear Hollywood's greatest DJ's on four turntables for a truly small sum in comparison to other parties. "On Thursday night, we wanted to keep the ticket price as low as possible, so people can experience the amazing venue, and what it has to offer," said De Jesus. Jason Amos added, "Aja itself is an extremely high end venue, yet we are in the business of making our customers have a good time. By no means is our environment stuffy. What sets us apart is the quality of our events, and the caliber of our celebrities. Most importantly, the overall beauty of the rooms themselves."

Super Sunday HQ asked Enrique De Jesus of Midnite Productions, about the chances of having an even guy/girl ratio, in a male dominated week. He explained "We've been doing events in the Tampa Bay Area for the last five years. Our primary business is here in Tampa. Our reputation of creating events that exceed our customers' expectations has allowed us to acquire a large network of individuals here, so the ratio in the event is obviously very important to us, but not of major concern, because we know that our female clientele base will be strong for the event."

AJA Channelside is located at  290 South Meridian in the Towers of Channelside, almost directly across the street to the St. Pete Times Forum.  The party runs from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
