Lingerie Bowl Cancelled

The Lingerie Bowl VI has been cancelled.

It had found a location for their sixth annual Super Bowl halftime event and this year it was to be held at Caliente Resorts, a clothing optional resort located in Land O’Lakes, on Saturday, January 31.

This is the same location that Dennis Rodman is holding his ‘Jocks That Rock’ Super Bowl party which is taking place on Friday, January 30.   The Lingerie Bowl is a tackle football game played by very attractive women who are scantily clad and is aired on pay-per-view during the Super Bowl halftime festivities. 

The two teams playing in the Lingerie Bowl VI will be the Miami Caliente and the Tampa Bay Breeze.  The late breaking news on this event is that some members of the team have quit.  Players have spoken out that they have quit because of a pay dispute and the fact that the game will be played at a clothing-optional resort.  Horizon Productions, the organizers of Lingerie Bowl VI, contends that the players who quit have already been replaced and that the game will still take place.   The game originally was to be held at a vacant lot in West Tampa but enough local residents protested which forced Horizon Productions to move the event to Caliente Resorts. 

We here at SuperSundayHQ.com recommend that ticketholders do their research before making the drive out to Land O’Lakes.  The Lingerie Bowl VI should be a very fun event to attend but there seems to be changes nearly every day on when and where this event will take place.  Check back to SuperSundayHQ.com for updates.  The Tailgate Festivities are set to begin at 5 p.m., gates will open at 7 p.m., the game (Lingerie Bowl VI) will begin at 9 p.m. and ‘Concussion’ (the after-party) will begin at 11 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $35 for General Admission, $95 for VIP and $150 for Platinum and can be purchased online at the official party website or by calling (877)993-8499. General Admission ticketholders get access to the Tailgate Festivities, general seating at the game and general admission to the official after-party, ‘Concussion’.  VIP ticketholders get to hang out with the Lingerie Bowl players in a special lounge area during the Tailgate Festivities, preferred seating at the game and access to the VIP lounge at the ‘Concussion’ after-party.  Platinum ticketholders have all of the same benefits as the VIP ticketholders but they get field access during the game.  

Caliente Resorts is located in Land O’ Lakes which is a considerable distance north from Tampa.
