NFL Charities holds its only fundraising events each year in the Super Bowl host city during the week before the big game.  These are unique celebrity golf and bowling outings that are purposely scheduled around the league’s premier event for maximum reach and success.  A good time is always had by all and we have a very loyal group of return attendees in addition to a large number of first-timers on every occasion.  

Attendees range from Pro Football Hall of Fame members to celebrities, local philanthropists and business owners.  NFL sponsors and corporate partners lend direct support as well and citizens from the local community also participate in these special outings every year.  They share a truly unique experience out on the links or bowling on a team with their football heroes while also helping to support the important fundraising needs of NFL Charities.  

With Super Bowl XLV taking place at Cowboys Stadium in North Texas, all events are planned to be 'Not just Bigger, Better.' NFL Charities will host two Bowling Events in addition to our annual Celebrity Golf Classic.  Detailed information on all events is below:

The Sixth Annual NFL Charities Super Bowl Celebrity Bowling Classics

Part One:  

WHERE:   300 Dallas Lanes ● 3805 Beltline Road, Addison, Texas

WHEN:     Wednesday, February 2, 2011 Registration begins at 7pm  First ball at 8pm

Part Two:  

WHERE:   Main Event Lanes ● 4801 Citylake, Fort Worth, Texas     

WHEN:    Thursday, February 3, 2011 Registration begins at 7pm   First ball at 8:30pm 

BOWLING EVENTS FORMAT:      Using the 3-6-9 handicap system, a team of four amateurs bowl two games each with a different celebrity captain - including current and former NFL players and members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

PARTICIPANTS: Each bowler will receive a commemorative Super Bowl XLV bowling ball and pin along with a gift bag of official Super Bowl merchandise from our event sponsors.  A silent auction hosted by NFL Auction will offer NFL memorabilia and autographed keepsakes.  A buffet and beverages will be provided to bowlers.

ENTRIES:      The entry fee is a donation to NFL Charities of either $300 per bowler or $500 per bowling couple.  Bowlers also may bring a guest for a $50 donation fee which includes the buffet and soft beverages.

The 26th Annual NFL Charities Super Bowl Celebrity Golf Classic 

North Texas golfers will have an opportunity to hit the links with former NFL players - including Pro Football Hall of Famers - at the 26th Annual NFL Charities Super Bowl Celebrity Golf Classic. Teams will play two of North Texas’ finest golf courses – the Country Club Course, which was nominated as the “Best New Course in the Nation” during its inaugural year by Golf Digest, and the challenging Tom Fazio course.

TIME:         10:00 a.m.  Shotgun Start, Reception & Awards Party to follow golf outing 

FORMAT:    Team scramble format: celebrity captain paired with four amateur partners

PARTICIPANTS: Each golfer receives a gift bag of Super Bowl XLV merchandise from event sponsors along with a commemorative photo of their foursome and celebrity captain.  A live and silent auction hosted by NFL Auction will offer NFL memorabilia and autographed keepsakes.   

ENTRIES:      The entry fee is a donation to NFL Charities of either $1,500 per golfer or $6,000 per foursome.
