This player knows how to celebrate and entertain and to show his support for Super Bowl XLII he is hosting an exclusive VIP pre-engagement. The night will consist of special performances and an attendance of celebrities and Pro Football players. Percentage of proceeds for this night will also be donated to the Terrell Owens Catch A Dream Foundation, a non-profit organization created to erase hunger and the lack basic daily needs from households throughout our nation by providing the necessary resources children and youth require realizing and acting on their dreams. MYRA burst onto the scene 6 years ago with a Debut Album on Buena Vista Records, a Spanish album with Hollywood Records, her First Feature Film Role and Primetime Network Debut. Her single "Miracles Happen" off her self-titled debut album landed her with a Gold Record at a young age and became the theme song for the movie Princess Diaries. The pop label began laying the groundwork for the release by sending MYRA on the road as opening act for Jive Records star Aaron Carter in 2001. She was invited back on the road for a Nickelodeon sponsored tour in summer 2001. Additionally, her version of the Motown classic "Dancing In The Street" was the end-title for the animated feature "Recess: School's Out" in 2002. The accompanying music video aired several times a day on The Disney Channel and received significant airplay on Radio Disney. Jay Landers, who at the time served as the Sr. VP of A&R at Disney and who has overseen numerous recordings with such legends as Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion, said of the young singer, "Putting it simply, she has that quality which separates the good from the great ... she's the real thing." MYRA was raised in California. Her parents are both from Mexico and her love of Latin music is reflected in several of the album's key tracks. "I grew up listening to all kinds of music," explains MYRA. "From Rock to R&B ... Salsa to Mariachi, I just love different flavors and rhythms. Mostly though, I admire singers like Aretha Franklin and James Brown. I have my own style, but they're so inspiring." Well this young lady, now a mature 21 yr old, experienced at a very young age what only some of us can dream of. She has worked with the best in the many of the best songwriters and producers in music today, including Guy Roche and Shelly Peiken (producer/writers for Christina Aguilera's "What A Girl Wants"); Diane Warren (hit writer for Celine Dion, Aerosmith, Ricky Martin, Faith Hill and countless others); Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey); Keith Cohen (Prince, Madonna) and production team The Matrix (Christina Aguilera) and has toured all over the world opening up for such artists as Erin Carter, O-Town, Backstreet Boys and more. Having taken a short break she is back with a new more grown up style and is featured on the compilation La Costa Nuestra distributed through Machete/Universal. She has 3 songs on this album including the first released single "Back To You" with new Latin Rap artist VEZE. The single is currently being aired on nationwide radio and video shows. If she is not in the studio gearing up for her new comeback album she is gracing red carpet events such as The Latin Grammy's and American Music Awards. She also performed at the 2008 New Years Eve Block Party hosted by E! Television in Hollywood, California.
