An Interesting Location Announced for the Playboy Super Bowl Party
It’s funny to what great lengths men will go to when you include the words: Playboy, Super Bowl, and party in the same sentence. Regular ticket prices from $2000-$2,500? No problem. At least a thirty minute cab drive from Scottsdale, the hub of all Super Bowl Party activity? That’s chump change. What about missing out on the Sports Illustrated and ESPN parties happening that same night? This is Playboy we’re talking about. It’s hard to go wrong with a Playboy event during Super Bowl Weekend. On February 2nd, 2008 the classy adult men’s magazine will put together a bash that is so anticipated, that many details, including the theme, are still a secret. However, recently, a Playboy party planner disclosed where it’s grotto away from grotto will be in Arizona. For the ninth consecutive year, Playboy will throw the most exclusive party in town during Phoenix's highly-anticipated Super Bowl weekend. "Playboy's Desert Oasis and Resort" will be held at The Pavilion at Wild Horse Pass on Saturday, February 2, 2008. The annual Super Saturday Night event will be hosted by Grammy winning hip-hop artist and actor Common, with a special appearance by Hugh Hefner, along with Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, stars of the hit E! series "The Girls Next Door." Celebrity Guest DJ Nick Cannon and DJ Reach will spin the tunes throughout the night at what promises to be Arizona's sexiest soiree of the weekend. Celebrities, athletes and VIPs will party with 26 Playboy Playmates at the retro-themed event. "Playboy's Desert Oasis and Resort" will blend vintage and contemporary elements from the 1960s desert, and reflect the era's hip style with a modern edge. Partygoers who enter the sexy sanctuary will be treated to a dance floor surrounded by cabanas, an Oasis Bar, a life-size Femlin model atop a martini glass, a retro coffee shop filled with tasty treats, a gift shop stocked with unique takeaways, and more. Sponsors for Playboy's Super Saturday Night event include Cuervo Black(R), a signature blend of Tequila perfect for mixing with cola or drinking on the rocks; Corona Extra, America's #1 imported beer; Jet One Jets, the leader in providing full-service charter aviation; Playboy Cigars and TicketCity.com. All sponsors will be integrated into the event through creative and unique decor elements, and partygoers will have a chance to enjoy Cuervo Black beverages, and Corona Extra and Corona Light beers. Additionally, Jet One Jets will provide roundtrip private jet service for Hugh Hefner and The Girls Next Door, and Jose Cuervo will continue its commitment to social responsibility by getting guests home safely from the event through its Safe Rides Home program. After the event, all leftover food will be donated to Waste Not, a food recovery organization that rescues excess perishable food and delivers it the same day to a diverse network of agencies that feed the hungry. In 2006, Waste Not delivered almost 1.5 million pounds of nutritious food to more than 80 recipient agencies including day-care centers, homeless shelters, residential homes for the physically and mentally challenged, assisted living facilities for the elderly, youth programs, soup kitchens and emergency food pantries. Celebrating 35 years of providing quality 1880's style family entertainment, the authentic frontier town is Arizona's largest western-themed attraction situated on 100 acres. The Rawhide Steakhouse, Rawhide attractions and stores were moved to the Gila River Indian Community and open to the public on December 16, 2005 at 11am. The Gila River Indian Community is nestled between the Sierra Estrella and South Mountains, just south of Phoenix (5700 North Loop Rd.) in Chandler, AZ. The last Playboy Super Bowl Party in 2007 was hailed as the king of all Super Bowl parties, complete with a stilletto seduction bar and a bed time story area with fighting models. Celebrities who came to last year’s party at the American Airlines Arena in Miami included: Nas, Kelis, Taye Diggs, Johnny Knoxville, Chester Taylor, Tony Romo, Warren Moon, John Rocker, Lisa Guerrero, Lil Jon, Kyle Boller, Too Short, Scott Erickson, Alyssa Milano, Jermaine Dupri, Kara Monaco (2006 Playmate of the Year), Danica Patrick and Carson Palmer.
