Spaghetti Western Super Bowl XLV Party benefitting Camp Erin at the Moyer Foundation and the Mario Batali Foundation

On Friday, February 4th, 2011, The Spaghetti Western event was hosted by world-renowned chefs Mario Batali, Tim Love and World Series champ Jamie Moyer.  They were joined by honorary celebrity co-chairs Chef Emeril Lagasse, “Culinary Rockstar” Guy Fieri, and MLB pitcher Tommy Hunter.  Also in attendance were former MLB players, Nolan Ryan and wife, Ruth and Rafael Palmeiro and wife, Lynne.

About 150 guests attended this exclusive Super Bowl pre-party that featured Tim Love’s urban western cuisine meeting Mario Batali’s rustic Italian fare for the ultimate Spaghetti Western, and included cocktails, cooking demos, silent and live auctions and live entertainment provided by NYC Country group Her & Kings County.

All of the proceeds from the event benefited The Mario Batali Foundation, helping children in need and The Moyer Foundation’s Camp Erin™ - the largest national bereavement camp in the country for grieving children and teens.

The Spaghetti Western had it all. The cocktails and hors doevres featured $150 a bottle, 18 Year Macallan single malt scotch, and mouthwatering sliders. The dinner menu, prepared by Batali and Love, included dishes such as Lasagne alla genovese, Wild Game Rub "Tomohawk" Chop, and Apple Macallan Fritters. In addition, this also was a great opportunity for guests and fans to say hello to the gracious celeb hosts and attendees as there was no VIP area separating the "talent" from the rest of the crowd.

PrimeSport and ESPN NFL Alumni Gameday Super Party

Prime

On Super Bowl Sunday, hours before kickoff, thousands attended the sold-out PrimeSport and ESPN NFL Alumni Gameday Super Party. This tailgate across the street from Cowboys Stadium at Eddie Deen's was a perfect pre-party, as guests were treated to an abundance of activities, food, drinks, and interactions with NFL Alumni.

The party organizers featured many Texas-themed touches to both the menu and the atmosphere, as attendees rode a mechanical bull, checked out the armadillo pen, learned how to quick draw with Texas Cowboys, and enjoyed the signature Texas BBQ at several food stations throughout the event.

While many enjoyed the up close and personal access to Super Bowl MVP Larry Brown and other NFL Alumni, the event had so many different features that there was truly something for everyone. Some danced to the great music of the ladies of the Lantana Band, while others smoked cigars, enjoyed the virtual golf driving range, played 8 ball on the pool tables, or treated themselves to the onsite massages.

Of course, the planners have traditionally recognized that food is a major portion of any footbally party, and this year did not disappoint partygoers. Guests had chicken tacos at the taco stands, BBQ ribs, sausages, enchiladas, fajitas, potato salad, and even peach and berry cobbler with ice cream.

Be sure to check out the video and photos of this event, as well as Primesport.com for 2012 Super Bowl Packages that will likely include this event.

Leather and Laces Super Bowl Party At Hotel Zaza, Dallas TX

Leather and Laces

This year, the Leather and Laces Party was spread out over two nights at the Hotel Zaza in Dallas, TX. This proved to be a smart decision as the event was a great gathering spot for good looking people, celebrities, and athletes.

Entourage's Kevin Dillon and pop music's Nicole Scherzinger hosted the first night, while The Girls Next Door stars Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt entertained guests on the second night. The two-evening bash drew other big name celebrities such as Kid Rock, Hugh Jackman, Warren Moon, Evander Holyfield, Adrian Grenier, and Marcus Allen.

The trendy venue, well-placed "mingler" models, and the great deejay gave this party an exciting and sexy vibe. The drinks were $1 a piece, rather than open bar, due to local regulations, but guests did not mind, and multiple dance floors were continuously packed. The VIP area was in a tent above the hotel pool, and had a higher concentration of NFL athletes and eye candy.

Be sure to check out the video and photos of this event.

Five For fighting

Wednesday night, over 100 members of the armed forces were bused in from Fort Hood to be honored at the Aces and Angels Salute to the Troops Super Bowl Party. KISS bassist Gene Simmons and his partner Shannon Tweed arrived to host the event, which featured performances by bands including Five For Fighting (performing "100 years") and more. The event featured gorgeous models dressed in Angel costumes and a silent auction with classic memorabilia from the Legends Group. Both the soldiers and the guests enjoyed the trivia games, the Jagermeister cocktails, and the buffet which featured fried catfish, hush puppies, mini sloppy joes, tacos, and nacho towers all around. Unfortunately, due to the weather, not many folks braved the elements to come out, but those present still appeared to have fun.

The Adrian Peterson Super Bowl Soiree, benefitting his All Day Foundation, was an amazing event that presented partygoers with an intimate opportunity to mingle with major NFL athletes. We were shocked at how gracious the famous attendees were, when approached by fans during the party. The Hotel Zaza was a top notch venue, and the women attending definitely made good use of the dance floor in the VIP area. Sam Bradford, Jerome Bettis, Eddie George, Adrian Peterson, Kevin Sorbo, Phil Helmuth were just a small sampling of big names present at the event.

ESPN the Magazine's NEXT Super Bowl Party

ESPN Super Bowl Party

The ESPN Super Bowl Party was one of the major parties in Miami, at one of the hippest spots, the Fontainbleu Hotel in Miami Beach. This party was strictly invite-only, and was a major draw for both athletes and celebrities, including some of the Black Eyed Peas, Jermaine Dupri, Donovan McNabb, Mark Sanchez, Nelly, Larry Fitzgerald, Terrell Owens, Serena Williams, Audrina Patridge, and countless of other famous folks. The premium drinks were flowing and guests had a great time, enjoying electric performances by Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson, and Q-Tip. Inside we saw a really cool instant photo area where guests could take black and white photos of themselves at the party to be printed out and displayed on the big screen. Spacious and well-designed, the venue was the perfect spot for wall-to wall-famous people to mingle and party.

DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl

DirecTC

The 4th Annual DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl was a well produced celebrity football spectacular that aired live on DirecTV. The event was free, and many fans turned out to watch Taylor Lautner, Jennifer Lopez, Marissa Miller, Eddie George, and others hit the sand for some football action right on the water. DirecTV knows how to pick a great location, choose the coolest actors and athletes, and provide great entertainment in the form of a concert by All American Rejects. This is one of the events that make Super Bowl Weekend truly special.

Super Brunch

Super Brunch

There was no better way to spend the Saturday Morning before the Super Bowl than by attending the Super Brunch benefitting both the Moyer Foundation's Camp Erin and the Marion Batali Foundation. Emeril Lagasse, Jimmy Fallon, Mario Batali, Bernie Williams, and Jamie Moyer were warm and entertaining to chat with while enjoying Bloody Mary's and delicious appetizers. On the 50th floor of the Hotel Viceroy, guests were treated to cooking demos, a silent auction, performances, and great food, all for a great cause. This was one of the hidden gems of all the Super Bowl events.

NFL Alumni and PrimeSport Shine Pregame Party

Primesport Super bowl party

We chose the absolute best option to tailgate on Super Bowl Sunday: the Shine NFL Alumni and PrimeSport Pregame Party. Fans turned out to party one final time before watching the big game. With a great crowd celebrating their favorite team, the Shine party did not disappoint as the creative cocktails and beer were free flowing and the food was ultra satisfying, inventive, and decadent. Guests got a chance to chat with NFL greats as well as boogie to the lively band atop a Casino adjacent to the stadium. This was one event not to miss for any true NFL fan and partygoer.

944 Hotel Party with Wyclef Jean

944 Super Bowl Party

The 944 Hotel Party proved one thing: Wyclef Jean truly earns his money when he appears as a host for an event. The Haitian born musician was a single man lyrical tornado as he performed nonstop on stage for about 5 hours straight, bringing up special guests from the crowd, such as LL Cool J and Shaggy to sing their signature anthems, coupled with 90's classics such as "The choice is yours." The Fugees frontman not only got the crowd involved, but he also announced an after party on the penthouse floor of his hotel suite, with Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo stopping by. The premium bar and great atmosphere made this one night to remember.
