Saturday Night Spectacular Super Bowl Party with Kevin Costner and Michael Strahan

Super Sunday HQ is first to announce that Field of Dreams star Kevin Costner and New York Giants Super Bowl XLII champion Michael Strahan are set to make a big splash on the Super Bowl party scene in Tampa as they headline the traditionally John Travolta - hosted Saturday Night Spectacular Super Bowl Party at the Tpepin Hospitality Centre on January 31, 2009. Partial proceeds from the event, which takes place from 8:00pm to 3:00am, and sponsored by such major names such as American Airlines, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, and Texas Energy will go to the Matthew Tryson Bryant Foundation.

This high profile celebrity event has always featured an American Icon and an NFL Legend. Last year, A-Lister and star of Saturday Night Fever, John Travolta co-hosted with St. Louis Rams Super Bowl Champion Marshall Faulk. Evander Holyfield and Alfonso Ribeiro attended and were treated to a performance by 80's band REO Speedwagon and Cirque USA. "We are thrilled to have the talented NFL Great Michael Strahan and Award-Winning Director, Actor and Producer Kevin Costner host this years Saturday Night Spectacular Party presented by American Airlines and Texas Energy Holdings Inc and sponsored by Budweiser. This party, boasting an ultra premium open bar and world class hors d'oeuvres, will also include an memorabilia auction by the Legends Group. Kevin Costner is an Academy Award winning director, for Dances with Wolves. He has also appeared in major movies, such as Field of Dreams, Untouchables, JFK, and Bull Durham.

The Saturday Night Spectacular 2009 will benefit the Matthew Tryson Bryant Foundation which was created by Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Matt Bryant and his wife Melissa in honor of their 3-month-old son Matthew Tryson who tragically passed away on September 24th, 2008. Through the Matthew Tryson Bryant Foundation, the family will be allocating funds to multiple causes. Some of the monies generated will go to The March of Dimes, research to help fight SIDS and raise awareness about the syndrome and an outlet for grieving parents all over the world who have found inspiration in the resilience of the Bryant family, especially after watching Tampa Bay kicker Matt Bryant help secure the win over the Green Bay Packers directly after his son’s funeral
