J & J Sports Marketing Group along with AT Entertainment, Global Event Specialists and Blazing Entertainment are throwing two parties during Super Bowl week at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa.  On Friday, January 30th, Grammy-winning recording artist Jermaine Dupri will team up with the Tampa Bay Bucs' rookie sensation Aqib Talib to host the Under the Veil Super Bowl Party.   On Saturday, January 31st, Grammy-winning artist Nelly will team up with former light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver to host their Celebrity Super Bowl Party.  The Museum of Science and Industry will serve as the venue for the event, providing over 30,000 square feet and 5 floors to give partygoers plenty of room to get their groove on.

Recently, we had the privilege of talking with Jay Stuck, one of the owners of J & J Sports Marketing Group, about these parties.

SuperSundayHq:  The list of celebrities that will be attending these parties is pretty impressive.  Are they all confirmed?

Jay Stuck (JS):  All of the celebrities that are listed on the party flyers are confirmed and will be attending.  For Saturday night’s party that Nelly and Antonio Tarver are hosting, the confirmed celebs include Ken Griffey, Jr., Common, D.L. Hughley, Charlie Murphy and Phil Ivey.  We just got confirmation that Will Ferrell and Halle Berry will be attending.  Hulk Hogan and his daughter Brooke Hogan will probably be at both parties.  For Jermaine Dupri’s party on Friday night, J.D. is bringing the whole So So Def family, Janet Jackson, Jamie Foxx.  I could go on and one with all of the stars that will be attending.  Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross just let me know that they will be stopping by at least one of the parties.

SuperSundayHq:  That is a lot of star power that will be in the house.  Are the celebrity hosts actively involved in the organizing of the parties?

(JS):   (Antonio) Tarver has been calling me every day from his training camp in Vero Beach.  He has a fight coming up in March but he still wants to make sure that the parties are something special.  J.D. has definitely been helping out as well.

SuperSundayHq:  For each night, General Admission tickets are $300 and VIP tickets are $600.  What are the benefits of buying a VIP ticket?

(JS):  VIP ticketholders will have access to the 3rd and 4th floors of the Museum which will be VIP only.  There will be an open bar and complimentary food in the VIP area.  We really want the VIP ticketholders to feel special so they will have a chance to walk on part of the red carpet.  It will be a no-host bar for General Admission ticketholders.

SuperSundayHq:  I believe that you have a special ticket offer for any ladies that want to attend the party?

(JS):   That’s right.  Ladies only have to pay $100 and they get to drink free all night long.   In addition, they will only have to pay $300 for a VIP ticket.

SuperSundayHq:  Where will the celebrities be hanging out?

(JS):  They will probably be in the VIP areas on the 3rd and 4th floors which is what we call the Super VIP area.  The 5th floor, which includes the roof area, is the ultra-VIP area.  The celebrity guests can hang out on the 5th floor for a little privacy when they want to just chill

SuperSundayHq:  For the partygoer who wants to have some extra privacy and have a VIP experience, what are their options?

(JS):  There will be six cabanas that can be reserved for the evening.  Each cabana can hold up to six guests and comes with a security guard to insure privacy.  Bottle service is provided with the cabanas and the prices run from $2,000 to $3,500, depending on the type of alcohol.  And then there is the cave.

SuperSundayHq:  The cave?  What is that?

(JS):  The cave is a private party spot that we have created inside the VIP area.  It is like a party within a party.  There are two areas to the cave, with each side holding up to 30 people.  The cave comes with two security guards and bottle service with plenty of alcohol.  Each side of the cave can be rented out for $8,000 and the whole cave can be reserved for $16,000.

SuperSundayHq:  Now that sounds like the ultimate in a VIP experience!  I noticed that the flyers for the parties say that the dress code is ‘Fly and Flashy’.  What is your definition of ‘Fly and Flashy’?

(JS):  Fly and Flashy can be anything from a designer sweatsuit to an attention-getting outfit to a sexy ballgown.  We want the partygoers to realize this is a special party and to be ready to have a good time.

SuperSundayHq:  There probably will be thousands of partygoers at the parties.  What is your recommendation for avoiding a long line?

(JS):  Partygoers with VIP tickets get to skip the line so they won’t even have to deal with it.  A General Admission ticketholder will have to wait in the line but they can buy a ‘line skip pass’ for $150 to avoid having to wait.  The celebrities will obviously not have to wait in any lines whatsoever.

SuperSundayHq:  Tell me a little more about the red carpet.  I heard it is going to be a little different.

(JS):  Our red carpet is going to feel like the red carpet from the Emmy’s.  It is going to be ‘snap and flash’.  We are going to have fireworks going off – when have you ever seen that at a red carpet event?  TMZ.com is going to be there along with a huge number of media.

SuperSundayHq:  Thanks for taking the time to talk with us today, Jay.
